Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist skilled in cardiac imaging and catheterization procedures for a contract position in Cypress, TX. This role offers an opportunity to work in a busy Cardiac Cath Lab with advanced Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment, supporting critical cardiac interventions. You will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and effective procedure coordination as part of a skilled team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including left and right heart caths, pacemaker/ICD insertions, Watchman device placements, IR procedures, vascular interventions, and EP ablations.
- Collaborate closely with RNs and supervising staff during patient procedures with a 3:1 team-to-patient ratio.
- Utilize MERGE Hemo and Meditech electronic medical record systems for precise documentation.
- Adhere to all procedural and safety guidelines, including universal precautions and sedation protocols.
- Support pre- and post-procedural patient care in addition to cath lab duties.
- Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled shifts including one full weekend and two weekdays every four weeks.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Must possess current BLS, ACLS, ARRT certifications, and valid TX license.
- Previous experience in Electrophysiology is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability in cardiac catheterization and imaging technologies.
- Strong team orientation and flexible approach to shifting demands.
