Support cardiovascular invasive procedures by providing technical expertise in the cardiac catheterization lab. In this role based in Denver, CO, you will assist physicians with radiological imaging, operate and monitor imaging equipment, and ensure patient care under RN supervision during complex cardiac and vascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support throughout invasive cardiovascular procedures.
  • Assist physicians as a scrub tech, maintaining sterile environments.
  • Operate imaging systems and document procedural images and events.
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedure expectations and pre/post care.
  • Maintain unit cleanliness and stock levels for diagnostic and interventional workflows.
  • Complete detailed documentation including daily, progress, and discharge notes.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Uphold organizational mission, vision, and values through professional conduct.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Registered ARRT or RCIS required within 18 months of hire.
  • Alternatively, Registered Respiratory Therapist with cardiovascular-specific certification accepted.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications endorsed by the American Heart Association.
  • Fluoroscopy Certification essential.
  • Vendor-supplied radiation badges required.
