A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist specializing in cardiac and vascular procedures. This role requires strong proficiency in fluoroscopy, cardiac catheterizations, and various diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures. The ideal candidate will hold either an RCIS or ARRT credential and possess comprehensive knowledge of cardiac and vascular imaging techniques.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, day shift
  • On-call duties ranging from 5 to 15 days per month

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures including heart catheterizations, arteriograms, fistulagrams, TDC placements, EVAR, and IVC implant/retrieval
  • Support STEMI call coverage and assist with pacemaker, ICD, CRTD, and CRTP implant procedures, although scrub duties may be limited
  • Utilize fluoroscopy equipment efficiently, with expertise in panning and ACIST technology
  • Ensure high standards of patient care and safety during all catheterization lab procedures

Qualifications:

  • Current RCIS or ARRT certification required
  • Solid experience in cardiac and vascular catheterization laboratory settings
  • Knowledgeable in procedure types such as heart catheterizations, STEMI responses, and vascular implantable device placements
  • Familiarity with fluoroscopy operation and procedural planning techniques
