A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with expertise in both Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology. This role requires working in dynamic settings within multiple campuses, delivering high-quality imaging support to cardiac procedures under the guidance of cardiologists and senior imaging staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing and documenting cardiac imaging studies with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Scrub in and monitor electrophysiology (EP) and cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the cardiology team to ensure timely and accurate diagnostics.
- Float between multiple hospital campuses as necessary to support patient care.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with infection control and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification is mandatory.
- Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working in both Cath Lab and EP environments.
- Strong critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in cardiovascular imaging.
- Ability to adapt to varying schedules including day shifts and on-call responsibilities.
Location: Position is based in Fort Myers, Florida, an inviting city known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant cultural scene, and warm climate. Schedule:
- Day shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call shifts: 9 to 11 per 6-week schedule rotation
This contract assignment offers a focused, 13-week engagement with the potential to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a well-regarded cardiac program. Candidates must be able to start as soon as possible and be willing to travel between campuses.
