A skilled imaging technologist is sought to support cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures at a reputable medical center in Fort Myers, FL. This contract opportunity requires a motivated professional to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment. The role involves assisting cardiologists during imaging studies and ensuring accurate monitoring and recording throughout procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • 9-11 call shifts per schedule, including after-hours and weekend coverage
  • Six-week rotating schedule

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current RCIS certification required
  • ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory
  • Minimum 3-5 years of combined experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP)
  • Demonstrated ability to scrub and monitor during procedures
  • Strong critical thinking skills and sound clinical judgment
  • Flexibility to float between campuses as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist cardiologists and technologists in the performance of cardiac cath and EP imaging studies
  • Accurately monitor and record patient data during procedures
  • Maintain timely and efficient workflow in a high-acuity environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
