Cardiac Cath Lab Tech | Miami, Florida

This opportunity is for an experienced Cardiovascular Lab Technician with strong proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures. The role is based in the vibrant Miami area, providing care in a highly specialized cardiac catheterization laboratory. Key Responsibilities

• Perform catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR) procedures within a 5-room cath lab setting.
• Utilize specialized cath lab equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, technologists, and medical staff to maintain a 1:1 patient care ratio throughout procedures.
• Document procedures accurately using Meditech and MacLab systems.
• Respond to on-call requirements promptly to support urgent cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• Certified Cardiovascular Lab Technician (CVL Tech) with current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proven cath lab experience required; EP experience preferred.
• Credentials such as CVT, RCIS, and/or RT are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Willingness to wear provided surgical scrubs while on duty.
