This opportunity is for an experienced Cath Lab technologist skilled in cardiac and EP diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role involves supporting procedure teams by scrub assisting and operating specialized equipment in a hospital setting. This is a contract position based in New Braunfels, TX, requiring flexibility for rotating weekday and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide scrub assist support during cardiac and electrophysiology (EP) procedures
  • Operate MacLab system to record, measure, and document cardiac procedure data
  • Utilize cardiac stimulators and MacLab recorder systems during interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
  • Adhere to hospital policies including floating assignments as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of hospital experience in Cath Lab environments
  • Proficient in scrub assist during cardiac and EP diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Skilled in use of MacLab system and cardiac stimulator equipment
  • Active Texas RN license (temp licenses are not accepted)
  • Certification: RCIS or RCES required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Preferred experience with EP scrub assists and vascular procedures
  • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system is a plus

Schedule:

  • Days, 7-10 hours, weekday and weekend rotating shifts
  • Weekend rotation and on-call requirements apply

This 13-week contract is ideal for a dedicated Cath Lab professional seeking to apply specialized skills within a supportive hospital environment. Candidates must be prepared to float per hospital policy.
