An opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to contribute expertise in cardiovascular imaging and catheterization procedures. This contract position offers exposure to advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiologists during catheterization procedures by preparing imaging equipment and monitoring patients.
- Operate and maintain imaging systems with precision to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols for radiation and sterile techniques.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes during procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care throughout diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist with strong imaging skills.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and procedural protocols.
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
