Key Responsibilities

• Operate and control radiographic equipment to capture clear, diagnostic images of cardiac and peripheral structures.
• Set X-ray acquisition parameters tailored to each procedure.
• Practice radiation safety through proper use of distance and protective attire.
• Prepare procedure rooms daily, including QC checks and inventory management in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in patient preparation, maintaining sterile technique, and administering drugs under physician supervision.
• Manage data entry, retrieval, and verification across multiple systems for accuracy in patient records and reporting.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on catheterization lab equipment, initiate repairs as needed.
• Anticipate patient and physician needs, monitor patient conditions, and communicate effectively to support procedure success and safety.
• May lead training initiatives and delegate tasks to other team members.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech or IR Tech with strong imaging skills in cardiac catheterization labs.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hemodynamics, diagnostic, interventional, and peripheral catheterization procedures.
• Proficient with equipment such as IVUS, ICE, HeartLab, and Combo Map systems.
• Ability to maintain strict adherence to safety and sterility protocols.
