An opportunity is available for a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to support imaging studies in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab. This contract role involves assisting cardiologists and the imaging team to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures with precision and critical judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiac catheterization imaging studies efficiently and accurately under physician supervision
  • Prepare and maintain sterile field and equipment for procedures
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Operate specialized imaging and monitoring equipment fluidly
  • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within electronic medical records systems

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification from recognized organizations (AHA or ARC)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in cardiac cath lab imaging or related field
  • Proficiency with Medhost and MacLab electronic medical record systems preferred
  • Ability to provide patient-focused care on a one-to-one patient ratio

Schedule & Location:

  • Monday through Friday, day shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
  • On-call every other week; flexible availability required
  • Located in Victoria, Texas
