A healthcare provider in Airway Heights, WA seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including Computed Tomography (CT). This contract position offers the opportunity to utilize your expertise in producing high-quality radiographic images while adhering to radiation safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general diagnostic, portable, bedside, and CT exams with minimal supervision.
  • Use anatomical knowledge and patient history to optimize image quality and positioning.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and ensure cooperation.
  • Operate radiographic and CT equipment following safety protocols, including ALARA principles.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media following protocols and sterile techniques.
  • Review images for diagnostic quality and retake as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including billing reports.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure the most appropriate exams.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Minimum three years of imaging experience, including CT proficiency.
  • Current Washington State DOH Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
  • ARRT (R) registration.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Schedule:

  • Monday and Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • 40 hours per week.
