CT Tech in Alpharetta, GA

A CT imaging technologist opportunity is available for a contract position located in Alpharetta, GA. This role requires performing a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures independently and with careful attention to safety and quality. Flexibility with night shift hours (Sunday-Tuesday, 7pm-7am) is essential to meet department needs while providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities include verifying clinician orders, obtaining clinical histories, positioning patients, administering contrast media safely, and producing high-quality diagnostic images. The technologist will also respond to emergencies, assist colleagues in other imaging modalities as needed, and maintain equipment cleanliness and proper functioning. Clear communication with patients, families, and physicians is critical, alongside thorough documentation and adherence to established protocols. The ability to perform venipuncture, apply sterile techniques, and operate power injection equipment is required. Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and quality control testing is also a key component of the role.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience; less than 1 year CT experience preferred
• Strong communication skills for interaction with medical staff and patients
• Ability to operate CT equipment and manage diagnostic imaging software proficiently
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and quality control testing
