Exciting opportunities are available for skilled imaging professionals with expertise in CT, X-ray, and PET/CT techniques. In this contract position, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services, supporting patient care during the night shift.
Schedule:
- Nights: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
- Sunday through Thursday
- 13-week assignment
- Start date: ASAP
Qualifications:
- Active New York State license as a Radiologic Technologist
- Advanced certifications: ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
- Experience operating CT, X-ray, and PET/CT equipment in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Injection certification is mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate patient-care approach
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced imaging studies (CT, X-ray, PET/CT) as ordered by physicians
- Accurately administer contrast injections and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain precise patient records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards
- Routinely inspect and calibrate imaging equipment for optimal performance
- Prioritize safety protocols for radiation exposure, infection control, and patient privacy
- Provide clear instructions to patients during procedures to ensure their comfort and understanding
