Computed Tomography Tech | Angola, New York

Exciting opportunities are available for skilled imaging professionals with expertise in CT, X-ray, and PET/CT techniques. In this contract position, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services, supporting patient care during the night shift.

Schedule:

• Nights: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
• Sunday through Thursday
• 13-week assignment
• Start date: ASAP

Qualifications:

• Active New York State license as a Radiologic Technologist
• Advanced certifications: ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
• Experience operating CT, X-ray, and PET/CT equipment in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Injection certification is mandatory
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate patient-care approach
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced imaging studies (CT, X-ray, PET/CT) as ordered by physicians
• Accurately administer contrast injections and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless care delivery
• Maintain precise patient records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards
• Routinely inspect and calibrate imaging equipment for optimal performance
• Prioritize safety protocols for radiation exposure, infection control, and patient privacy
• Provide clear instructions to patients during procedures to ensure their comfort and understanding
