A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced CT Imaging professional to support critical diagnostic services during night shifts. This contract position requires dedicated skill and judgment to perform CT procedures that contribute to accurate diagnoses and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify clinician orders and gather complete clinical histories to ensure proper procedure execution.
  • Perform CT diagnostic exams with independent judgment, adjusting techniques to ensure optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Administer contrast media safely, adhering to established protocols and monitoring patient condition throughout procedures.
  • Position patients appropriately and operate imaging equipment, maintaining sterile technique and patient comfort.
  • Review and assess imaging results for clinical acceptability, and ensure accurate data entry into hospital systems.
  • Respond swiftly to emergencies, assist in restocking emergency equipment, and collaborate with team members across modalities as needed.
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance and quality control tests in line with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Provide clear communication with patients and family members to explain procedures and address concerns, reducing anxiety.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current certifications: ARRT Radiography and ARRT Computed Tomography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience; CT experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to operate CT consoles and related RIS/PACS software.
  • Detail-oriented, capable of multitasking in a busy clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in radiation safety and patient positioning.

Schedule and Location:

  • Night shift hours, Wednesday through Friday, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • Position starts at the end of January 2026.
