Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and PET/CT imaging procedures following established protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor equipment functionality and ensure maintenance and calibration are up to date.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs.
- Adhere to safety and infection control standards at all times.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Certification and experience as a CT/PET Technologist.
- Proficient in operating CT and PET/CT imaging equipment.
- Strong understanding of imaging protocols and patient safety measures.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Current licensure and certifications as required by the state.
