Computed Tomography Tech | Burlington, North Carolina

A healthcare facility in Burlington, NC has an opening for a skilled Imaging professional specializing in CT and PET/CT technology. This contract role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to diverse imaging services covering pediatric to geriatric patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT or PET/CT technologist
• Current BLS certification and ARRT CT credential required
• Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations; neonates and infants preferred
• Proven skills working in outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, and ICU environments; NICU and PICU experience preferred
• Proficiency in PACS, contrast administration; biopsies and IV starts are desirable
• Flexible and punctual with a strong commitment to client attendance policies

Schedule:

• Nights, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Friday through Sunday (3x12-hour shifts)

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and PET imaging procedures accurately and safely across diverse patient populations
• Utilize PACS systems for handling and archiving images
• Administer contrast agents and assist with biopsies as needed
• Collaborate effectively with medical teams in emergency and critical care settings
• Adhere to all safety and compliance guidelines strictly
• Demonstrate reliability in scheduling, meeting mandatory deadlines for compliance

Additional Information: This role welcomes first-time travel technologists and requires compliance completion by noon EST on the Wednesday before the start date. Candidates must acknowledge full awareness of the position requirements and demonstrate flexibility with scheduling.
