This opportunity offers a dynamic role as a CT Technologist located in Charlotte, NC, on a contract basis. This position is suited for professionals with a strong background in imaging, specifically CT and PET technology, who seek an engaging environment with advanced technology and diverse patient care.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist; first-time travelers welcome
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
  • BLS certification required
  • Proficient in venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging including perfusion, and colorectal studies
  • Ability to start peripheral IVs is essential
  • Familiarity with TeraRecon software is a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging and CT-guided invasive procedures in various patient settings, including ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient units
  • Collaborate with anesthesia during cases as needed
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and utilize advanced equipment such as Siemens CT scanners and Bayer/Medrad power injectors
  • Document procedures effectively using EPIC EMR and RIS systems, and manage imaging in PACS (Philips iSite)
  • Participate in holiday coverage as required with limited on-call shifts (2-3 shifts/month)

Schedule:

  • 12-hour evening shifts on Thursday (1700-0530) and Friday through Sunday (2100-0630)
