A healthcare facility in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced CT Technologist for a contract position focused on advanced imaging services. This role involves utilizing state-of-the-art CT scanners to perform complex diagnostic studies, including multi-phase and stroke imaging with venous and arterial phases, as well as CT-guided invasive procedures. The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification with an advanced registry in CT and is skilled in starting peripheral IVs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures, including cardiac CT, colorectal studies, and perfusion for stroke diagnosis.
  • Execute venous and arterial phase scanning with multi-phase imaging techniques.
  • Support CT-guided invasive procedures and work alongside anesthesia as required.
  • Operate Siemens Definition AS 40, Force, and Edge+ CT scanners and associated power injectors.
  • Document and maintain patient imaging records using EPIC EMR and Philips iSite PACS.
  • Participate in mandatory holiday coverage and be available for on-call shifts 2-3 times per month.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years CT technologist experience; first-time travelers considered.
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and advanced CT registry.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to start peripheral IVs and knowledge of TeraRecon software preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable working evening and overnight shifts (Thursday 5 PM – 5:30 AM; Friday-Sunday 9 PM – 6:30 AM).

Work Schedule:

  • 12-hour evening and overnight shifts.
  • Holiday coverage required for approximately 75% of holidays.
  • Weekend shifts included, with no floating requirements.
