Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality imaging exams including CT and PET/CT scans using Siemens and GE equipment.
- Apply patient-centered care techniques in a high-volume teaching hospital environment.
- Collaborate closely with nursing and transport teams to ensure efficient department workflow.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and documentation in EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
- Participate in departmental orientation and ongoing education to maintain competency in specialized modalities.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Certification and licensure: BLS required; ARRT certification with CT specialty mandatory for CT Tech roles; additional ARRT or ARDMS certifications applicable based on modality.
- Ability to work within a diverse patient population across ED and outpatient settings.
- Capability to adapt to a schedule including 12-hour night shifts with weekend and holiday rotations as needed.
Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Weekend rotation and holiday shifts required (approximately 75% of holidays).
- Schedule cycles every 4 weeks.
