A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced CT Technologist skilled in CT and PET imaging to provide critical support in a fast-paced medical imaging environment. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality imaging services utilizing advanced technology with a team dedicated to patient-centered care.

Location: Charlotte area, North Carolina

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and STAT CT exams on inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients, prioritizing cases by acuity, including code stroke protocols
  • Operate and maintain GE Revolution Apex CT scanner and Bayer MedRad contrast injectors with precision and safety
  • Utilize EMR (EPIC), RIS (Epic Radiant), and PACS (Philips iSite) systems in daily workflow
  • Collaborate with the department to deliver seamless imaging services within a non-teaching facility offering X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, and MRI
  • Participate in administrative onboarding and facility-specific training to ensure compliance and proficiency

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT required
  • Minimum two years CT experience, preferably with GE CT systems
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Experience prioritizing and handling high-acuity imaging cases, including emergency code strokes
  • First-time travelers encouraged to apply

Schedule:

  • 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Must work holidays falling within scheduled shifts
