Join a dynamic imaging department as a CT Technologist supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care in Concord, NC. This contract position offers a specialized opportunity to apply your CT and PET/CT skills in a fast-paced environment, primarily working with GE CT equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in performing routine and STAT exams, including urgent Code Stroke imaging, ensuring timely and accurate diagnostics.
Shift & Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Weekend rotation required
- Holiday shifts are part of the schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging studies for a diverse patient population including ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient cases
- Prioritize and coordinate exams by acuity, managing urgent STAT requests efficiently
- Utilize post-processing techniques as needed for complete diagnostic results
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver comprehensive imaging services
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- National certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R)(CT) required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of CT imaging experience preferred; first-time travelers encouraged to apply
- Proficiency with GE Revolution Apex CT scanner essential
- Experience with EPIC electronic records, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting, handling multiple priorities and urgent cases
