Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time travel position
- Variable schedule; flexibility required to meet department needs
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification with certifications in CT preferred
- Radiologic Technologist (RT) license as applicable
- Previous experience operating CT, X-ray, and MRI equipment
- Comprehensive understanding of quality control standards
- Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills
- Ability to adhere to sterile techniques and universal precautions
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CT, X-ray, fluoroscopic, MRI, and C-Arm equipment safely and efficiently
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images and ensure optimal patient positioning
- Administer contrast media as directed and assist radiologists in procedures, such as biopsies or drainages, using imaging guidance
- Transport and guide patients safely for exams, monitoring for contraindications and ensuring comfort
- Maintain rigorous compliance with Federal, State, and regulatory standards and policies
- Oversee quality control for all imaging modalities and maintain accurate departmental records
- Train and support radiology students and assist with staff scheduling
- Keep work environments clean, organized, and welcoming for patients
