This opportunity calls for a skilled CT Technologist with expertise in imaging, particularly in structural heart and procedural experience. The position requires registration with ARRT and involves performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures under general supervision. Flexibility with scheduling is essential, as shifts primarily span mid-shift hours from approximately 9:00 am to midnight.

Responsibilities:

  • Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them accordingly.
  • Review clinical requisitions and obtain relevant patient history.
  • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms and supplies.
  • Analyze patient anatomy, set up equipment, and perform CT scans.
  • Administer intravenous contrast media, monitor patients for reactions, and provide immediate care if needed.
  • Assist radiologists with complex sterile diagnostic procedures, such as biopsies.
  • Adhere to radiation safety principles, including dose reduction and appropriate shielding.
  • Manage PACS imaging exceptions, confirm image quality, and complete study indexing in the Radiology Information System.
  • Collaborate with radiologists on clinical protocols.
  • Maintain thorough documentation in medical records and radiology systems.
  • Uphold team standards of communication, professionalism, and respect for diversity.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Registered ARRT certification for CT Technologists.
  • Experience with structural heart imaging and procedural protocols.
  • Proficiency in CT imaging technology and related software systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a clinical team.
  • Commitment to radiation safety and patient care.
