An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist seeking a contract position in Dunkirk, NY. This role requires a skilled technologist with a solid background in CT imaging combined with proficiency in X-ray technology. Candidates must hold injection certification and bring at least three years of hands-on CT experience to ensure high-quality patient imaging and care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CT imaging.
  • Injection certification required.
  • Experience as a Radiologic Technologist with CT experience is acceptable even if not CT certified.
  • Ability to perform X-ray and CT/PET imaging.
  • Flexible availability for shifts including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
  • Willingness to participate in holiday rotations.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Every other week overnight shift from 11 PM – 7 AM.
  • Weekday shifts will vary between 8 or 12 hours, primarily during the 2nd and 3rd shifts.
  • Minimum 32 hours, maximum 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and X-ray imaging studies with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Administer injections safely and effectively in accordance with certification.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely diagnostic information.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and follow protocols to ensure quality control.
