A specialized opportunity is available for experienced CT/PET Technologists skilled in advanced imaging techniques, including Cardiac CTAs and calcium scoring, to support a progressive medical facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This contract role spans 13 weeks, offering a focused experience in cardiac and body imaging using high-end equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and PET imaging procedures with precision, focusing on cardiac CT angiography and calcium scoring
- Operate GE Optimum 64 slice CT scanners efficiently
- Ensure patient safety and quality assurance adhering to BLS, ACLS, and ARRT(CT) standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to produce accurate diagnostic images
- Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information
Qualifications:
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- ARRT certification in CT imaging mandatory
- Proficiency with GE Optimum 64 slice CT scanner
- Demonstrated expertise in Cardiac CT angiography and calcium scoring
- Ability to work independently during evening shifts
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
