Computed Tomography Tech | Gastonia, North Carolina

A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced CT Technologist with strong imaging skills in CT and CT/PET technology. This contract position offers an engaging role within a well-equipped facility supporting a broad range of radiological services. The work schedule includes 12-hour evening shifts on Thursdays from 5 PM to 5:30 AM and Fridays through Sundays from 9 PM to 6:30 AM, with on-call responsibilities approximately 2-3 shifts per month and covering 75% of holidays. Weekend rotation is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging including venous and arterial phase scanning and multi-phase studies.
• Conduct stroke imaging and perfusion studies, alongside colorectal and cardiac CT imaging as needed.
• Participate in CT-guided invasive procedures, working with anesthesia support when necessary.
• Efficiently operate multiple Siemens CT scanners and associated imaging technology.
• Start peripheral IVs as part of patient preparation.
• Collaborate with guest services and transport personnel for patient movement.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT required.
• BLS certification mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years CT experience, with proficiency in imaging techniques and patient care.
• Familiarity with TeraRecon software is a plus.
• Able to utilize EPIC EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS systems.
