Computed Tomography Tech | Gastonia, North Carolina

A specialized opportunity is available for a CT Technologist with expertise in CT and PET imaging to support a busy imaging department in Gastonia, NC. This contract position focuses on performing advanced CT imaging studies, including routine and STAT exams for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GE CT equipment and a strong ability to prioritize critical imaging cases like Code Strokes while managing post-processing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT imaging studies accurately and efficiently using GE Revolution Apex technology.
• Prioritize and coordinate examinations based on patient acuity, including emergent cases from the Emergency Department and inpatient units.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and utilize electronic medical records (EPIC) and PACS (Philips iSite) for imaging documentation and review.
• Participate in administrative onboarding and perform departmental training to ensure smooth integration.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging.
• BLS certification required.
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced imaging environment.
• Prior experience with GE CT scanners and dual-head contrast injector preferred.

Scheduling:
