Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with dual Radiology (DX) and CT modalities
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology plus advanced registry in CT
- Current BLS certification required
- Capability to perform general X-rays including portable procedures and CT scans
- Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC, and imaging software such as Philips iSite
- Ability to support an emergency department averaging over 100 radiology and CT studies daily
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic CT scans and general x-rays in an outpatient and emergency setting
- Collaborate with department leadership and clinical teams to ensure quality patient care
- Operate and maintain high-tech imaging equipment including Siemens XCite CT scanner and Shimadzu RadSpeed X-ray units
- Adhere to departmental policies and participate in onboarding and continual education programs
Schedule highlights include 12-hour night shifts (1900-0700) with on-call and holiday rotation requirements, providing a balanced yet engaging work routine. This role allows for high-impact contributions within a well-established imaging department supported by 24/7 onsite radiology services.
