A skilled Radiologic Technologist with dual-modality expertise in CT and general X-ray imaging is sought for a contract position in Gastonia, NC. This opportunity involves working in a dynamic outpatient and emergency department environment equipped with advanced imaging technology.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with dual Radiology (DX) and CT modalities
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology plus advanced registry in CT
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Capability to perform general X-rays including portable procedures and CT scans
  • Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC, and imaging software such as Philips iSite
  • Ability to support an emergency department averaging over 100 radiology and CT studies daily

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic CT scans and general x-rays in an outpatient and emergency setting
  • Collaborate with department leadership and clinical teams to ensure quality patient care
  • Operate and maintain high-tech imaging equipment including Siemens XCite CT scanner and Shimadzu RadSpeed X-ray units
  • Adhere to departmental policies and participate in onboarding and continual education programs

Schedule highlights include 12-hour night shifts (1900-0700) with on-call and holiday rotation requirements, providing a balanced yet engaging work routine. This role allows for high-impact contributions within a well-established imaging department supported by 24/7 onsite radiology services.
