Deliver accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic healthcare setting, utilizing advanced CT and radiographic techniques to support patient care and clinical decision-making.

Location: Hamilton, CO – a welcoming community known for its scenic views, friendly neighborhoods, and proximity to a variety of outdoor recreational activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging exams including CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and OR imaging in accordance with departmental protocols and radiologist instructions.
  • Ensure patient safety by practicing radiation safety standards and adhering to ALARA principles.
  • Educate patients by explaining procedures and equipment to alleviate concerns and promote optimal care.
  • Verify patient identity using two methods and review medical history and consent forms to prepare for accurate imaging.
  • Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, coordinating maintenance when necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive patient records in electronic health systems and document procedural details accurately.
  • Assist with cross-training staff, take on call, overtime, or holiday shifts as needed to ensure continuous imaging services.
  • Order and manage imaging supplies, perform clerical duties, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
  • Uphold strict patient confidentiality and comply with all safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • ARRT registered in Radiology (R).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and employee health requirements.
  • Preferred experience includes proficiency in multiple imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, DEXA, and Mammography.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records, PACS, RIS/HIS systems is advantageous.
