A comprehensive opportunity is available for a skilled CT Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures in a fast-paced radiology department. This contract position involves weekend day shifts, specifically Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM, requiring dedication and expertise in CT imaging.
Location: This role is based in Hedgesville, West Virginia, a small town known for its scenic landscapes and community-focused atmosphere. Hedgesville offers a peaceful living environment with access to outdoor recreational activities, making it an ideal location for professionals seeking a balance between work and quality of life.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT required; CT certification preferred)
- Active West Virginia state license or ability to obtain licensure during/after offer
- AHA BLS Certification mandatory
- Experience with EPIC EMR, and imaging equipment including Canon, Toshiba, and Fuji Synapse systems
- Must be proficient in performing all adult and pediatric CT imaging studies except adult-only interventional radiology
- Ability to start IVs as required
- Valid driver's license with an address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility due to a local ban
- Disclosure of any background hits at submission
- No previous travel assignments in the facility within the last two years for returning travelers or previous permanent candidates
Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT imaging studies on inpatient and outpatient populations following department protocols
- Collaborate with radiology supervisors and technologists; no lead tech responsibilities assigned
- Adhere to facility’s radiation safety guidelines; agency provides radiation badges
- Work within specified shifts on weekends; no call or holiday coverage required
- Maintain black scrubs as the dress code during shifts
Additional Details:
- This contract role does not include weekend work beyond the set schedule or call duties
- Radiologists are available onsite for daytime coverage with on-call support during evenings
- Orientation and training specific to the imaging modality will be provided, generally up to two weeks
