Job Type Contract

Seeking an experienced CT Technologist with at least four years in computed tomography to support diagnostic imaging at a Level 1 Trauma Designation teaching hospital. This 12-hour day shift contract role provides an opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology in a high-volume clinical environment serving inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of CT experience
  • ARRT certification in CT required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficient in initiating IVs
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
  • Familiarity with Philips PACS and GE scanners preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging to assist in diagnosing a variety of patient conditions
  • Provide imaging services to a patient census averaging 100 daily across inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings
  • Operate imaging equipment following established protocols and safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient care continuity
  • Participate in department-specific orientation including a one-day departmental introduction and facility new employee orientation

Schedule and Work Environment:

  • 12-hour day shifts covering Saturday through Monday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • No weekend rotation outside assigned shifts and no on-call responsibilities
  • Required to work holidays occurring during the contract tenure
