A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced radiologic technologist specializing in CT imaging. This 13-week contract offers a rewarding work environment within a 16-bed Level IV Trauma Center located in Mapleton, OR. The position requires dedication with a Monday through Thursday schedule of four 10-hour days, along with overnight on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging utilizing advanced equipment including Shimadzu portable systems, Siemens "go-all" CT scanners, and Philips room X-ray units
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate imaging records and assist radiologists with diagnostic procedures
- Adhere to all department policies, protocols, and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
- Current Oregon State Radiologic Technologist license mandatory
- Experience in MRI or Mammography is a strong advantage; ARRT(MR) or ARRT(M) registration needed to operate within these modalities
- Proven ability to manage imaging equipment and adhere to strict protocols in a trauma center environment
