A CT Technologist opportunity is available in Matthews, NC, offering a chance to contribute to advanced imaging services within a well-equipped healthcare environment. This contract role includes working a 10-hour night shift with a schedule of Thursday 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM and Friday through Sunday 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Holiday coverage is required for about 75% of holidays, with on-call and callback responsibilities approximately 2-3 shifts per month.
Responsibilities include performing CT imaging for a variety of patient types including emergency, inpatient, observation, and outpatient. The role supports CT-guided invasive procedures and cardiac CT imaging on a day shift basis. Candidates must be proficient in venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging with perfusion, and colorectal studies. Experience with peripheral IV starts is required. Familiarity with advanced imaging software such as TeraRecon is preferred but not mandatory.
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with an advanced CT registry
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years CT imaging experience; first-time travelers are welcome
- Competent in multiple CT scanning protocols and procedures
- Ability to work with EPIC EMR/RIS systems and Philips iSite PACS
- Comfortable participating in holiday and on-call rotations
