A skilled Radiologic Technologist is needed to perform a wide range of radiographic procedures, including general diagnostic, portable, bedside, and advanced Computed Tomography (CT) exams. This role requires technical proficiency to produce high-quality images while maintaining radiation safety standards (ALARA) for patients and staff. The position operates within a structured Monday to Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, supporting patient diagnostics and collaborating closely with healthcare team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for radiologic and CT imaging, applying expert knowledge of anatomy and imaging protocols
  • Utilize portable and stationary equipment, including C-Arm systems, adhering to safety and sterile techniques
  • Communicate effectively with patients of diverse ages and conditions to explain procedures and ensure cooperation
  • Perform quality control on imaging studies, reviewing and repeating images as necessary to guarantee diagnostic accuracy
  • Coordinate with radiologists and referring providers to accommodate necessary exam modifications for optimal patient care
  • Manage documentation and billing accuracy, maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, performance improvement efforts, and team communications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in imaging with verified CT expertise
  • Current Washington State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist license
  • ARRT certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
