A CT Technologist is sought for a contract opportunity in Monroe, NC, providing advanced diagnostic imaging services in a comprehensive healthcare setting. This role requires expertise in CT imaging, with responsibilities spanning inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. Working primarily on a 12-hour evening shift schedule, the position involves performing specialized scanning procedures, including venous and arterial phase scanning, stroke imaging with perfusion, and colorectal studies.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with an advanced registry in CT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CT Technologist; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Proficiency in starting peripheral IVs
- Experience with multi-phase and venous/arterial phase scanning
- Stroke imaging expertise, including perfusion studies
- Familiarity with TeraRecon software is a plus though not required

Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting CT scans using Siemens Definition AS 40, Siemens Force, and Siemens Edge+ scanners
- Participating in CT-guided invasive procedures and anesthesia-assisted cases as needed
- Utilizing EMR (Epic), RIS (Epic Radiant), and Philips iSite PACS systems
- Ensuring high-quality imaging for various clinical needs including stroke and cardiac CT imaging
- Adhering to department protocols during onboarding and throughout clinical duties
Schedule and Job Type:
- Contract position
- 12-hour evening shifts: Thursdays 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM and Friday through Sunday 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- On-call responsibilities: 2-3 shifts per month
- 75% holiday coverage required
