An opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging Technologist with expertise in CT and general Radiologic Technology to support diagnostic services in a busy emergency department setting. This contract position is based in Mooresville, NC, offering a dynamic environment with both emergency and outpatient imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dual-modality imaging, including CT scans and general X-rays (portable and stationary)
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment such as Siemens XCite CT scanner and Shimadzu RadSpeed X-ray system
  • Collaborate closely with the department leadership and healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic imaging
  • Utilize EPIC electronic medical records and RIS systems to document and manage patient data
  • Adhere to facility protocols and maintain high standards of patient care and safety
  • Participate in on-call rotation, weekend shifts, and holiday coverage as required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a dual Radiologic Technologist with proficiency in CT imaging
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to perform both general radiology and CT studies independently with accuracy and efficiency
  • Experience working within electronic medical record systems, ideally EPIC
  • Willingness to meet on-call and weekend requirements

Schedule:

  • 12-hour night shifts (1900-0700), approximately 36 hours per week
  • On-call duties 3-4 shifts per month
  • Weekend rotation based on departmental needs
  • Coverage includes working approximately 75% of holidays
