CT Tech in Mountain View, HI

Perform advanced imaging procedures with a focus on Computed Tomography in a dynamic hospital environment located in beautiful Mountain View, Hawaii. This contract opportunity requires a skilled radiologic technologist who can work independently while adhering to established radiologist protocols. Your expertise will directly contribute to critical patient diagnoses in an acute hospital setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required upon assignment start
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography mandatory
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current and active
• Minimum two years’ experience in an acute hospital environment performing CT scans independently
• Proficiency in performing routine CT scans; familiarity with biopsy or drainage procedures, vascular, cardiac, trauma, or stroke imaging is a plus
• Experience working with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT scanners, and Vitrea workstation preferred
• Ability to perform venipuncture and advanced image post-processing techniques such as MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct CT scans according to radiologist protocols ensuring high-quality imaging
• Manage and prepare patients appropriately for imaging procedures
• Maintain safety standards and comply with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
• Complete required documentation in electronic medical records accurately and timely

Schedule & Contract Details:

• Shifts will vary based on departmental needs with no on-call responsibilities
• Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date for mandatory employee health clearance
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to assignment start
• Candidates must obtain or possess an active Hawaii state license before assignment commencement
