An opportunity is available for a CT Imaging Technologist skilled in CT and PET/CT technology in Prattville, AL. This contract position offers the chance to work at a Level II Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and Primary Stroke Center, providing comprehensive imaging services for inpatient and outpatient adults and occasional pediatric patients.

Position Details:
- Start Date: May 12th
- Shift: 10-hour days, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Scheduling includes variable weekends (typically once per month) and holiday rotations (one major and one minor holiday as per policy)
- Work across multiple areas within the main Radiology department, floating throughout the hospital
- Free on-site parking provided
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced CT imaging procedures including biopsy drainage, trauma imaging, angiograms, and stroke perfusion (strongly preferred)
- Provide imaging for a 1:1 patient ratio averaging four patients per hour
- Work with adult inpatient and outpatient cases, with occasional pediatric patients from the emergency department
- Utilize GE CT technology within an EMR environment using Cerner
- Participate in hospital orientation (one 8-hour hospital orientation plus 2-3 shifts with assigned technologist)
Qualifications & Certifications:
- ARRT certified in CT (ARRT-CT) required; state licensure preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT credentials required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required for first-time travelers; 1-year experience acceptable for experienced travelers with strong skills
