This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment in a Level II Trauma setting, ideal for professionals accustomed to fast-paced radiology departments. With comprehensive support and varied caseloads, you’ll be responsible for providing diagnostic imaging services to OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations.
Required Hours/Schedule:
- Shifts include 8, 10, or 12 hours; specific shift details provided during interview process.
- Weekend, holiday, and call requirements discussed during later interview stages.
- Floor-specific orientation: 1-2 shifts in department.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience (1st time travelers considered).
- Active BLS certification.
- ARRT(CT) certified.
- California state licensure as Rad Tech I or II with CT.
- Fluoroscopy certification through California.
- Experience using Cerner EMR and Philips CT equipment (ipatient 64, Big Bore 16).
- Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required.
- Self-starter with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work holidays and call as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging studies for a diverse patient population in diagnostic radiology.
- Adapt quickly to serve in various settings (OR, ER, inpatient, outpatient).
- Collaborate with radiology team, reporting to department manager and team lead.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies.
- Utilize provided scrubs (teal) and change to hospital-provided scrubs for OR procedures.
- Handle fast-paced workflow and independently manage night shift challenges with fewer resources.
