A skilled CT Technologist is needed to provide expert imaging services across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings at a well-regarded medical center in Saint Louis, MO. This contract opportunity offers evening shifts with guaranteed weekly hours and requires an experienced professional to deliver high-quality diagnostic and interventional CT procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic CT scans ensuring precise imaging for radiologist interpretation.
  • Assist radiologists during interventional and special procedures such as biopsies, ablations, myelography, and arthrography.
  • Provide essential patient care throughout all CT procedures, maintaining safety and comfort.
  • Apply radiation safety principles to protect patients, staff, and self.
  • Organize daily workflow and act as a vital resource within the CT team during shifts.
  • Support float responsibilities as needed within the radiology department.
  • Participate in orientation on day shifts prior to starting evening shifts.
  • Weekend work is required every week; call duties are not part of this role.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of CT imaging experience.
  • CT Registry certification and valid American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Proficiency with GE imaging equipment and EPIC electronic medical records.
  • Ability to adapt well in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals.
  • Compliance with mandatory flu vaccination between November 1 and April 1, unless officially exempt.

Schedule & Location:

  • Evening shift, 5 days a week (36 guaranteed hours).
  • Weekend coverage required every weekend.
  • Orientation week on day shift prior to evening assignments.
  • Position is a 13-week contract based in Saint Louis, MO.
