CT Technologist - Shawnee, KS

Play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients by utilizing your expertise in CT technology. This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated and skilled imaging professional to join a unit equipped with three GE Optimas CT scanners. You'll perform a wide range of CT exams, support trauma cases, and deliver outstanding patient-centered care alongside a small, tight-knit team of technologists.

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position (duration specified with your recruiter)

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT (CT) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active Kansas state license
• Proven experience operating GE CT equipment
• Solid trauma imaging experience
• Exceptional patient care and communication skills
• Adaptable, team-oriented, and flexible with unit needs
• Comfortable documenting within McKesson PACS and Meditech

Responsibilities:

• Perform all CT procedures according to established protocols and physicians’ orders
• Deliver compassionate care while ensuring safety and comfort for all patients, including trauma cases
• Accurately document procedures and findings in McKesson PACS and Meditech systems
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide expedient and accurate results
• Maintain a professional appearance in required black scrubs
• Assist the unit by floating as needed
