A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging professional specializing in Echocardiography and Vascular Sonography. This contract position offers a 12-hour day shift schedule in a progressive healthcare setting, focusing on cardiac and vascular sonography with pediatric patient experience. Candidates with strong technical skills and adaptability will thrive in this role.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in cardiac and vascular sonography, with pediatric expertise
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification required
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficiency with EPIC charting system highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change well, with a resilient and hardworking attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills; sociable and team-oriented approach

Location: Cary, NC This role is situated in the vibrant Cary area, known for its welcoming community atmosphere, excellent amenities, and proximity to major healthcare facilities. Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive echocardiograms and vascular sonography studies, including pediatric cases
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate diagnostics and patient care
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and infection control protocols, including current vaccination requirements
  • Rotate weekends and holidays as part of shift schedule; no on-call duties required
  • Assist with float assignments to similar units as needed

Schedule:

  • 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Weekend and holiday rotation included
  • No blocked scheduling, providing varied workdays

Additional Information:

  • Contract length: 13 weeks with immediate start
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week (hours not guaranteed during orientation or unit closures)
  • Strict scrub color policy to maintain professional appearance
  • COVID-19 vaccination and booster required unless exemption applies
  • Travel experience highly preferred; no travel radius restrictions
