A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Echo and Vascular Sonographer with strong cardiac and pediatric sonography skills. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment at a respected medical campus in WakeMed Raleigh, located near Chapel Hill, NC. This role is ideal for a resilient professional who thrives in dynamic clinical settings and values excellence in patient imaging diagnostics.

Shifts are structured as 12-hour daytime shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., totaling 36 guaranteed hours per week with rotating weekends and holiday coverage. The position involves floating to like units as needed and does not require on-call or callback responsibilities. Charting in EPIC is strongly preferred to maintain thorough, accurate patient records.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification required
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Extensive experience in cardiac and vascular sonography, including pediatric cases
  • Proven ability to manage change and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Travel experience highly preferred
  • EPIC charting proficiency is a strong asset

Work Environment and Dress Code:

  • Scrubs in red, black, gray, or white solid colors required; no designs except in pediatric areas
  • Comfortable layering with short or long-sleeve shirts permitted under scrub tops
  • No hoodies or fleece jackets; scrub jackets allowed
