Echo Technician | Raleigh, North Carolina

A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced Echo and Vascular Sonographer specializing in cardiac and vascular imaging. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment located in Raleigh, NC, with a Monday to Sunday rotating schedule and no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed cardiac and vascular sonography including pediatric cases.
• Provide comprehensive imaging assessments with accuracy and efficiency.
• Float within like units as needed to support patient care.
• Chart patient information and imaging results, preferably using EPIC software.
• Adhere to dress code standards with designated scrub colors and styles.
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday shifts without on-call duties.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• RDCS certification and AHA BLS required.
• Extensive experience in cardiac and vascular sonography, including pediatric imaging.
• EPIC charting experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated resilience, strong work ethic, and adaptability in clinical settings.
• Social and effective communicator.
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required unless medically or religiously exempt.

This position requires a 12-hour day shift (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) with guaranteed 36 hours per week outside of orientation and occasional unit closures. Travel experience is highly preferred, and pay rates are consistent across local and travel contracts.
