A 13-week contract opportunity is available for an experienced Vascular Sonographer with expertise in both cardiac and vascular imaging. This role is based in Raleigh, NC, providing essential diagnostic services within a dynamic hospital setting. The position requires a skilled professional capable of handling pediatric cases and adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform vascular and cardiac sonography imaging, including pediatric cases.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment accurately and maintain patient safety protocols.
  • Chart and document patient information using EPIC (strongly preferred).
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams and float between like units as needed.
  • Participate in rotating weekend and holiday schedules without on-call or callback duties.
  • Adhere to strict uniform policies and COVID-19 vaccination requirements in line with hospital protocols.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • ARDMS RVT (vascular) or RDCS (echo) certification is required.
  • AHA BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Extensive experience in cardiac and vascular sonography with pediatric exposure.
  • EPIC charting experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong resilience, adaptability to change, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Travel experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule / Hours:

  • 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
  • 36 guaranteed hours weekly with rotating weekends and holiday shifts.
  • No blocked schedule during shifts and no on-call responsibilities.
