Echo Technician | Ravenswood, West Virginia

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Echocardiography Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services on a contract basis. This position supports vital patient diagnostics, utilizing your expertise to perform both routine and advanced echo exams in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Alternating weekends required

Key Qualifications:

• Proficient in performing a variety of echocardiography exams, averaging 15–18 per shift
• Current ARDMS certification (any version required)
• Valid driver’s license uploaded to your profile prior to submission
• Previous experience in an echo tech role within a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and pathophysiology
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Compliance with background check requirements; any background information must be disclosed at the time of application
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive and accurate echo imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Analyze preliminary findings, ensuring high-quality images and appropriate documentation
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to optimize patient diagnostics
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and uphold strict facility safety standards
• Educate patients about procedures, providing reassurance and clear instructions
