A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Echocardiography professional skilled in pediatric imaging. This contract position focuses on performing pediatric echocardiograms on patients aged 0 to 12 months with a dynamic heart and vascular assessment background.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full range of echocardiographic procedures including 2D transthoracic, 2D/3D transesophageal, and pediatric echocardiograms.
  • Conduct Dobutamine stress tests and specialized procedures such as agitated saline echocardiograms.
  • Maintain accurate records utilizing Meditech EMR and Centricity Cardio Workflow (CCW) PACS.
  • Collaborate with the cardiology team to ensure comprehensive and patient-centered care.
  • Adhere to unit policies and protocols to maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Proven ability to perform pediatric echocardiograms on patients 0-12 months.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Registered Cardiac Sonography (RCS) and/or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
  • Experience with GE E90, E95, and S70N ultrasound equipment is a plus.
  • Preferred: Certified Pediatric Echocardiographer (PE).
  • Strong attention to detail, adaptability, proactive approach, and teamwork abilities.

This contract role operates on a day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM in a well-equipped echocardiography unit. Surgical scrubs are provided for the position.
