Echo Technician - Woonsocket, RI

Step into a vital position where your echocardiography expertise will support high-quality patient care in a hospital imaging department. This contract opportunity spans 10 weeks and is ideally suited for an experienced Echo Tech who thrives in a day-shift schedule and values work-life balance.

Schedule:

• 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No call requirements
• No weekends

Qualifications:

• Active certification in ARDMS or RCS required
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated competence in performing comprehensive and focused echocardiograms
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality echocardiography studies in accordance with physician orders
• Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment
• Ensure accurate documentation of exam findings and patient information
• Adhere to all departmental and regulatory protocols for safety and quality
• Communicate findings promptly to reading physicians
• Provide compassionate, professional care to patients throughout the imaging process
