Advance your career in neurodiagnostics by joining a high-performing team committed to excellence in patient care. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled Neurodiagnostic EEG/IOM Technologist to support the Imaging department for a 12-week assignment, with immediate start dates available.

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts, Thursday–Sunday (07:30–18:00)
  • Every weekend coverage required
  • 40 guaranteed hours per week (except during holidays/closed units)
  • On-call responsibilities: M–F (19:00–07:30); Sat–Sun (07:30–07:30, 48 hours), with a 30-minute response time
  • Float to affiliated departments and clinics as needed
  • Holiday rotation as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or graduation from an accredited (CAAHEP) Neurodiagnostic program required
  • Registered in EEG (R.EEG) and CNIM credentials, with current AHA BLS
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience performing EEG and IOM procedures
  • Previous hospital setting experience preferred
  • Strong ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Epic charting experience preferred

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and interpret EEG, EMG, and EP studies in both inpatient and outpatient environments
  • Collaborate with physicians in neurodiagnostic testing to assist diagnosis of neurological disorders
  • Troubleshoot and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment
  • Educate and guide technologists and students on procedural techniques
  • Accurately document patient data and adhere to departmental protocols
  • Manage scheduling, billing, and general daily operations
  • Provide patient education and ensure a compassionate testing experience
