A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced EP Tech to contribute expertise in a specialized Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. This contract position offers a focused role involving advanced imaging and EP procedures within a controlled environment supporting cutting-edge cardiac care.

Location: Louisville, KY

This position supports a 3-room EP Lab equipped with Siemens, Cardio Solution, and Stereotaxis technology. The workflow utilizes electronic medical records systems including McKesson Cardiology and Cerner, promoting efficient and accurate patient data management.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shift: 7:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
  • No weekends or call requirements, though staying post-procedure as needed
  • 4x9 schedules available, with potential for 4x10 arrangements upon request

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with EP procedures such as ablations (including A fib, Flutter, SVT), pacemaker insertions and removals, leadless pacemakers, Watchman device placement, and loop recorder management
  • Provide detailed troubleshooting during procedures ensuring high standards of patient care and safety
  • Collaborate clearly with multidisciplinary teams fostering effective communication and clinical outcomes
  • Maintain strict 1:1 procedure room patient ratio, ensuring focused attention to each case

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working within an EP Lab environment
  • Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and either KY license or RCIS credential
  • Proven hands-on experience with EP studies and device management as listed above
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented clinical setting
